REINFORCED BRICKS
Reinforced bricks have metal plates embedded in and interlayered with the rubber, vulcanised in such a way as to make them invisible and protected from atmospheric agents, creating, as the name implies, “REINFORCED BRICKS”. This characteristic makes them much more rigid than rubber-only blocks and can withstand significant vertical and transversal loads.
The peculiarity of this anti-vibration mount is the possibility of shear working and of allowing horizontal displacement of the overlying structures, which are often unintentional, while maintaining high permissible vertical loads.
Technical data:
Rubber hardness: 60 [Sh A]
Breaking load: 130 [kg/cm2]
The vulcanised rubber metal plates can be 2 or 3 millimetres thick.
The rubber used can be either natural or synthetic (Neoprene).
Reinforced bricks are suitable for use where resistance to high loads is required.
