SQUARE AND RECTANGULAR BASE

The anti-vibration bases consist of a metal top plate (which can be threaded for possible connection with the machine) and a rubber base.

These are used to cushion machines with a large mass such as presses, machine tools, compressor units, etc.

On the bottom of the rubber there is square or diamond-shaped ribbing that allows better anchoring of the anti-vibration mount to the ground (suction effect).

In the metal part, there can be a threaded hole to anchor the machine; alternatively the anti-vibration mount can be used as a support only, the weight of the machine itself will ensure that it is fixed to the ground (in the absence of jerking or transverse movements).

The rubber for normal uses is a natural compound; an appropriate synthetic compound will be used for specific uses where resistance to oils, high temperatures or aggressive agents is required.
