Bushes
Rubber and metal anti-vibration bushings, also called silent blocks, are an excellent aid to isolate vibrations and eliminate noise Anti-vibration bushings are rubber bushings contained between metal pipes and are used to isolate vibrations and eliminate noise. The vibration isolation function is performed by the rubber inserted between the two pipes. The compound used is very important; it is usually a natural-based vulcanised rubber (NR base rubber, but special compounds can be used based on specific requirements) . In vulcanisation, the rubber undergoes a process that makes it perform better. Our bushings are fully vulcanised: in addition to excellent vibration-damping performance, vulcanisation offers an extremely resistant rubber-metal bond, resulting in greater security on the applied load. The inner bushing can move independently of the outer bushing in four ways: axial, radial, torsional and pendulum. Correct fitting of the bushings in their housing only entails pushing the outer ring into the hole where they are to be applied.
